Robert Morton

Robert (Bob) Morton has worked for more than 30 years in Ontario’s health and social services sectors. Bob believes in the concept of collaboration in service delivery to the community. Before taking on the role of founding Chief Executive Officer of Children’s Treatment Network of Simcoe York in October 2005 Bob was Executive Director of the community care access centres of Peel and Simcoe County. In 2004 Bob became a founding member of the Region of Peel’s Council of Champions, a cross-sectoral group that recognized the need for integrated planning for kids.

Recently, he and his wife took their grandsons to Disneyworld. Having the chance to re-experience parenthood through his children is something he takes pride in. Bob lives in north Simcoe with his wife Lynn. He is an avid skier and enjoys puttering around the water in the summer. In addition, Bob is a people person, and strives to stay in touch with people he has met in his various roles.

A favourite saying –“this is serious work, but we can’t take ourselves seriously.”
