Who We Serve

Photo of group outdoorsChildren’s Treatment Network will serve more than 4,200 children with multiple disabilities and their families in Simcoe County and York Region. They include children with physical, developmental and communications needs who may already be receiving services from Network partners and require more ongoing, intensive or specialized rehabilitation treatment.

Services are available to kids from birth to age 19 with a wide range of disabilities and complex conditions, including:

  • Cerebral palsy
  • Muscular dystrophy
  • Acquired brain injury
  • Developmental and learning difficulties
  • Spina bifida
  • Autism or pervasive developmental disorder (PDD)
  • Chronic and/or long-term medical conditions that require intensive therapy, specialized equipment or travel to treatment centres outside of the community
