The Network will continue to expand and enhance services in Simcoe and York. Our plan is to establish 10 Local Teams and 2 Resource Centres that will help shorten waitlists and reduce the need to travel outside of the community for services.
At this time, 2 Resource Centres in Barrie and Richmond Hill are providing families with access to additional services, professionals, specialized equipment and specialty services - all at a central location. Six Local Team Sites in Midland, Alliston, Georgina, Markham, Vughan and Newmarket are providing additional services and supports for parents and professionals in those communities. Two more new Local Team Sites are due to open over the coming months in Collingwood and Orillia. For more information on Local Team Sites see our Staff Directory.
